Ormond Way Cycle Route
The cycle route starts in Milestone and finishes in Portumna
The Ormond Way cycling trail starts in the Milestone area and finishes in Portumna. It is about 83 Km in length and goes through the villages of Templederry, Toomevara, Cloughjordan, Ballingarry, Lorrha and ends in the town of Portumna.
In this video, the cyclists seem to be following the walking trail, as they are off-road for parts of the route.
The cycling route is mainly on local roads and regional roads, although there is a short section on a national road leading to Portumna.
